Pilot Intern Program  In April, 2008, the Elk Grove Water Service partnered with Calvine High School on a new internship program. Six high school students worked part time for EGWS, getting a comprehensive, hands-on opportunity to learn about the water industry. On May 27, 2008, the interns gave a speech about their experience.
